Current CD Rates

The Credit Union has a variety of certificates of deposit (CDs) with competitive rates designed to meet your needs, now with a required minimum deposit of only $500. This investment is best suited to someone who can set aside an amount of money for a certain period of time and not draw on those funds (unless you receive interest payments) until the certificate matures. Whether you invest for yourself or a loved one, our CDs offer you a great opportunity.

Highlights:

• Certificates are available with maturities from 30 days to 5 years and a minimum deposit of $500 is required to purchase a certificate.
• APCO certificate rates are always competitive and will be fixed according to the announced weekly rate at the time of your purchase.
• All APCO certificates compound interest on a daily basis and you may choose from several options of how you would like your interest paid.
• If you would like a steady stream of income from your investment, we can transfer the dividends monthly or quarterly to your account on certificates with maturities over 91 days. If you want your interest to accumulate and grow, you may choose to leave the dividends in the certificate until maturity.
• If you do not contact us to redeem or make changes to your certificate at maturity, it will automatically renew for an additional like term at the current rate of interest at the time of renewal. There is a grace period of 5 business days to withdraw a certificate after the automatic renewal date.

Federal regulations require penalties against the interest on your certificate if you decide to withdraw from the principal amount prior to maturity of the certificate. Please read the early withdrawal information when you purchase your APCO certificate.
